What is 3D Printing?

3D Printing RAPMAF

Building Reality from Digital Blueprints

3D Printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing, is a revolutionary process that builds three-dimensional objects directly from a digital CAD file. Unlike traditional subtractive methods, it constructs parts layer by layer, enabling immense design freedom, complex geometries, and accelerated innovation.

Our Core 3D Printing

       Technologies

3D Printing RAPMAF

SLA (Stereolithography)

Delivers exceptionally smooth surface finishes and fine details. Perfect for concept models, presentation prototypes, and casting patterns.

3D Printing RAPMAF

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

Produces strong, durable, and functional thermoplastic parts with complex geometries without the need for support structures. Ideal for end-use parts.

3D Printing RAPMAF

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)

The most cost-effective method for early-stage prototypes, jigs, and fixtures using a wide range of production-grade thermoplastics.

3D Printing RAPMAF

MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)

Offers incredible speed and isotropic material properties, making it an excellent choice for functional prototypes and low-volume production runs.

3D Printing RAPMAF

DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering)

Prints fully dense, high-performance metal parts directly from CAD data. Ideal for complex metal components in aerospace, medical, and automotive.

3D Printing RAPMAF

PolyJet / Material Jetting

Creates stunningly realistic prototypes with multiple materials, colors, and durometers in a single print. Unmatched for aesthetic validation.

Inquiry & FAQs

We’ve answered some of the most common questions our customers ask about our high-precision laser cutting services.

Support format : jpeg, step, stp, sldprt, stl, dxf, ipt, x_t, x_b, 3dxml, catpart, prt, sat, 3mf, jt, webp, jpg, pdf, png, bmp, doc, zip, rar, dwg, xlsx, excel, igs, glb, gltf

We guarantee that all the files and pictures you upload will be kept confidential and no customer personal information will be disclosed.

The primary factors are the volume of material used, the machine time required (which is influenced by the part’s size and complexity), the specific 3D printing technology chosen, and any manual labor for post-processing and finishing options.

Our standard lead time is highly dependent on the technology and order complexity, but many projects ship in as little as 1 to 3 business days. Our instant quoting platform will provide you with a precise delivery date upon file upload.

No, we have no MOQ. We are equipped to handle everything from a single prototype for validation to thousands of end-use parts for low-volume production runs.

We are a manufacturing service and do not offer design services from the ground up. However, we provide comprehensive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback on your existing design to help you optimize it for better results and lower costs.

Absolutely. We treat client confidentiality with the utmost seriousness. Your files are uploaded to a secure, encrypted platform, and we are always willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for your complete peace of mind.

Tolerances are technology-dependent. A general standard is typically ±0.005 in (±0.127 mm) plus ±0.002 in/in for part dimensions. Technologies like SLA and DMLS can often achieve tighter tolerances, which can be reviewed by our engineers upon request.

Yes, this is a common and highly recommended practice for parts requiring assembly. We can install a variety of threaded inserts (such as heat-set inserts or Helicoils®) to provide strong, durable metal threads in your plastic parts.

Our build volume capabilities vary by machine, with our largest systems accommodating parts up to 39 x 31 x 19 inches (1000 x 800 x 500 mm). For objects exceeding these dimensions, we can often print them in sections and expertly bond them together.

Yes. You retain 100% ownership of your intellectual property. We are simply the manufacturing partner that brings your design to life. Your files are for your exclusive use.

This is highly dependent on the technology and material. For high-resolution processes like SLA and DMLS, we can achieve wall thicknesses down to 0.5 mm (0.020"). For SLS and MJF, a minimum of 0.8 mm is recommended for robust parts.

Isotropic means the part possesses nearly equal mechanical properties (like strength and stiffness) in all directions (X, Y, and Z axes). This is a key advantage of SLS and MJF, making their parts highly functional and comparable to injection-molded components.

Yes. For SLS parts, we offer cost-effective dyeing in various colors. For other technologies, we provide professional painting services and can match any specific RAL or Pantone color code you require.

For a quick guide: use SLA for smooth visual prototypes; SLS/MJF for durable, complex functional parts; FDM for cost-effective early-stage models; and DMLS for high-strength metal components. Our material pages have detailed specs, or you can contact our engineers for advice.

We strongly recommend uploading a STEP (.stp, .step) file, as it is a solid model format that provides the most accurate data for quoting. We also accept STL, IGS, OBJ, and 3MF files. Please also specify the material, quantity, and required finish.
